Well, it’s nothing I just took out of the blue cause it’s sort of a family name if you take a look back in our generation on my father’s side. It’s my father’s (here we go…) grandmother’s grandmother’s…father? Did you get it? Or at least something like that, it’s not the easiest thing to remember. His name was Anders Oskar de Beau.

Anders Oskar de Beau lived as a Wallon in the north of France and here you have it; he worked as a silversmith. And my dream is to work as a silversmith too so I sort of wanted to honor him in a way and take it with me in my journey as I try to make something out of my jewelry and paintings. And who knows if I one day change my last name for real to Elvira de Beau.
